My introduction to art started with art classes at Boise State University. At the same time I was working in an electric and lighting fixture business where I created custom lights and lamps.

I left Boise for Washington State where I became a general contractor and built many custom homes and went on to build six sail boats including one 46 foot steel sailboat, which was home for ten years. Living in the San Juan Islands of Washington it seemed natural to learn to fly as a means of transportation to the mainland.

Leaving the islands I moved to a private airstrip in southwestern Idaho where I built my own home and hanger and contracted to build eight small single seat airplanes.

My wife, Jacquelyn, and I moved back to southwestern Washington where I designed and built our custom home and large steel shop. It was here that I begin creating custom steel sculptures. The sculptures are intended to be a work of art as well as functional one of kind pieces for the home.
